This 14ct Gold Filled Open Jump Ring is a workshop essential, perfect to connect findings and components to jewellery pieces.

Gold filled jewellery is also known as rolled gold or gold bonded, is created by mechanically bonding a layer of gold to a layer of base metal – usually brass. The outer gold layer must be at least 1/20 of the overall metal content by weight, and is therefore a much thicker and more durable alternative to gold plating. Unlike gold plated metal, gold filled can be soldered using 9ct or 14ct gold easy solder.

Supplied open. 3mm Diameter and a thickness of 0.63mm.
