This 14ct Gold Filled Heart Closed Ring is ideal for connecting to chains or other jewellery findings. Jump rings are a workshop essential for any jewellery maker, and are used in creating necklaces, bracelets and charms, and to connect findings to jewellery pieces. Alternatively, this heart shaped ring can be used as a charm, earring drop, or in simple pendant designs.

Gold filled jewellery is also known as rolled gold or gold bonded and is created by mechanically bonding a layer of gold to a layer of base metal – usually brass. The outer gold layer must be at least 1/20 of the overall metal content by weight. Therefore it makes a great alternative to gold plating, which is thinner and less durable.

The closed ring measures 17mm in diameter, and has a wire thickness of 0.9mm.
