These 14ct Gold Filled Figure of 8 Connectors have a plain, polished finish and make beautiful connections on jewellery designs such as bracelets, earrings, or necklaces, and can also be used as decorative elements. Their recognisable cut-out figure of 8 shape, or infinity design, can either be attached to a chain or other jewellery findings by using a jump ring or clasp, or directly threaded or tied onto a cord.

Gold filled jewellery is also known as rolled gold or gold bonded and is created by mechanically bonding a layer of gold to a layer of base metal – usually brass. The outer gold layer must be at least 1/20 of the overall metal content by weight. Therefore it makes a great alternative to gold plating, which is thinner and less durable.

Each connector measures 9mm (L) x 4.25mm (W), and has a thickness of 1mm.
