This Fretz Maker Planishing Hammer features one round 21.7mm flat face and one 22.3mm slightly domed face both highly polished to a mirror finish, the slightly rounded end gives a classic planishing mark whilst the flat helps smooth out and remove marks made during previous steps.

This hammer is ideal for smaller intricate work such as filigree or small vessel forms.

Delivering precision, whilst being built for toughness and durability, this hammer is a scaled down version of the Fretz Jewellers Planishing Hammer (), is it a much lighter tool perfect for use with lighter metal gauges.

The head is made from 420 grade stainless steel and features highly polished faces secured to a handle beautifully crafted from North American ash, oil finished and shaped to give you a light touch.
