Engravers Pitch 450gm Red

Description

This Engravers Pitch, is a red non-brittle pitch that is very simple to use, and is a much less toxic version compared to a black pitch, and the results are often better.

The Engravers Pitch provides a strong support for chasing but is still soft enough to allow embossing of repoussé.

The melting temperature of this engravers pitch is low enough to ensure that it can be safely shaped by hand.

The engravers pitch can be placed into a pitch bowl where it should then be heated gradually.

Please note that red pitch does not have to be burned off in order to be used.
