This Durston Silhouette Die Set is an essential tool designed for jewellers to create detailed, high-relief metal forms.

It is designed to be used with Durston Impression Dies, and Hydraulic Presses () to produce the best results.

This set includes;

• 1 x Steel cylinder
• 1 x Matching precision-machined pusher
• 2 x Silhouette dies offering 10 various shapes
• 3 x Urethane pads (1 x 4mm & 2 x 19mm deep)
• 1 x Allen key

Supplied in a sleek black storage box.

The silhouette shapes are as follows:

• Diamond: H 35mm x W 23.4mm x D 8.2mm
• Rectangle: H 29.3mm x W 23.3mm x D 8.2mm
• Oval: H 33mm x W 23.7mm x D 8.2mm
• Triangle: H 29.2mm x W 30mm x D 8.2mm
• Square: H 28mm x W 28mm x D 8.2mm
• Shield: H 33.4mm x W 22mm x D 8.2mm
• Narrow Oval: H 33mm x W 17mm x D 8.2mm

The selection of 3 pads are different thicknesses to suit various forming requirements.

To use;

• Place a Durston impression die into the container.
• Add your metal piece and a urethane pad.
• Apply the steel pusher.
• Place all of the above into the hydraulic press and pump up using handle.
• Once pressure has been applied release valve to open press.

This arrangement ensures that the force is efficiently focused into the metal, yielding sharply defined, high-relief forms.
