Brass Slide Vernier Gauge 100mm X 0.01mm

Description

The Vernier Gauge is a great tool for making accurate measurements of external dimensions.

Gauges are used for measuring the thickness of metal sheet and the diameter of rod or drill bits.

The object being measured is placed between the jaws of the gauge, and the jaws are slid shut so that the object is held tightly.

Made from Brass this measuring instrument has been calibrated to indicate inches and millimetres and divisions thereof, up to 80mm and 3.4″.
