Compatible with MX1and MX2 and M1 portable units, the Micro-Filer Handpiece can only be used with nanomotors.

The 5LC100 Micro-Filer Handpiece is a versatile tool that operates at speeds between 500 and 5,000rpm, delivering a torque of 24.7 cNm (centre meters newton).

Its 1mm stroke length provides a delicate but effective up-and-down motion, making it ideal for polishing detailed pieces such as pierced work. This precise control allows for a smooth finish, ensuring high-quality results in jewellery making.

This handpiece is supplied with the universal tool holder (), the holder opens to 10mm and is for use with ceramic filer sticks in either round or flat, the sticks can also be cut and shaped to your requirements.

In addition to the ceramic sticks, the universal chuck can also hold the sandpaper support () which is tapered to assist you in reaching narrow openings.

Easy to use, only:

• Twist the silver part of the handpiece to release the file or tool you’re using
• Replace it with your new file
• Twist the silver part again to tighten and secure the new tool in place

It is supplied with an allen key to tighten or loosen your tool.

When unscrewed, you will observe that this filer handpiece is straight and does not have a widened skirt, allowing it to only attach to a nana micromotor. In contrast, the strong micromotor handpieces do have this feature, clearly indicating which handpieces are compatible with each motor. These handpieces are not interchangeable.

The collar of each handpiece also has its name engraved to make it easier to identify which tool you are using.
