This Artisan Assorted Shaped Disc Cutter is a fast, effective and easy way to create perfectly formed assorted shaped discs for your jewellery designs.

Perfect for beginners, hobbyists and students, the set features nine different sizes and shaped dies, each of which will cut soft metal such as silver, gold, brass or copper.

To use the Artisan Assorted Shaped Disc Cutter, simply place your metal under your chosen die and strike firmly with a hammer – thicker gauge metals will often need more than one strike. Your shaped disc will come out of the bottom of the disc cutter ready to use in your jewellery designs.

The cutting edges have a 7 degree angle, enabling it to cut through metal like scissors.

The nine dies in this set will create assorted shaped discs, these include:

To keep your disc cutter in good condition, use a lubricant such as Burr Life () when not in use and, when working, operate the cutter on a rubber block such as .

For perfectly perpendicular results when cutting small pieces of metal insert a scrap piece of base metal of the same thickness as the metal to be cut into the opposite side of the cutter.

The tool measures 7.5cm x 7.5cm (3 x 3 inches) and cuts upto 1mm (18 gauge) sheet.
