9ct Yellow Gold Magnetic Peanut Clasp 8mm

Description

This 9ct Yellow Gold peanut-shaped magnetic clasp fastens via a magnet in each hemisphere of the clasp. Perfect to use with a variety of necklace and bracelet designs and interchangeable jewellery, the clasp provides a secure hold, yet opens and closes easily. This makes it ideal for those who have difficulty using regular clasps.

The clasp measures 8mm x 12.5mm and the loop measures 2.5mm with a wire thickness of 0.5mm.

Please note that care should be taken when soldering magnetic clasps, as excessive heat can cause the magnetic properties to fail. Any heat applied to the clasp should be kept away from the centre of the clasp as this can cause damage to the magnets inside.

Care should be taken to ensure that the clasp can support the weight of your jewellery piece to prevent loss or damage.
