18ct White Gold 1.4mm Franco Chain 16″/40cm Hallmarked

Description

This 1.4mm wide 18ct White Gold franco chain is ideal for showcasing small pendants and charms or wear on its own. Each link measures approximately 1.8mm in length, and the chain has a total length of 16″/40cm, finished with a secure trigger clasp.

A Franco chain is made from V-shaped links tightly interlocked in a zigzag pattern, creating a dense, flat, and geometric chain that is strong and smooth. In comparison to a Foxtail chain is made from teardrop-shaped links arranged in a braided, overlapping pattern.

Made in Italy and supplied with a UK hallmark due to its finished weight.

Please note:

• The jump ring connecting the clasp is supplied unsoldered. Following manufacturer guidelines, soldering is not recommended, as it could damage the bolt ring mechanism.
• Additionally, this chain features a rhodium plating to help preserve its brightness over time. Please note that harsh cleaning products may remove this plating, as it is a very thin additional layer applied over the gold chain.
